A special thanks to all Lakeshore members who came out to volunteer their time to help with Midwestern Council’s first race event of the year. Special thanks to: John and Sue Nelson for being Race Chair and financial consideration. Dick and Cathy Karth for instructing, financial management, and trophies. Nicole Krueger for instructing Saturday, then racing on Sunday (we need…
A few Lakeshore racers braved the elements in the first Midwestern Council race event of the year. Nicole Krueger not only instructed on Saturday, then raced on Sunday on a drying track putting down some quick laps for a win in her Ford Fiesta. Lakeshore’s John Jarvis also braved the elements bringing home a third place finish in Spec Miata.…
Happy 2024! February rolled in with some mild weather and some of you may be thinking about the upcoming racing season. A few members quick to the throttle to renew their Lakeshore memberships through motorsportreg were James Offutt, Jack Borys, and John Filios. James and Jack both renewed their membership on 1/8, but James was a few hours earlier. John…

The weekend format will be what you are used to with a Driver’s School on Saturday and a full racing schedule on Sunday. Please come out and…
Lakeshore’s Joshua Madell brings home another Midwestern Council GT1 title in 2023. Joshua calls West Bend, Wisconsin home piloting a 2012 Chevy Camaro. Always a threat for the race group overall, Joshua had 4 first place finishes, a second, and a third all at Blackhawk Farms (sorry I did’t have the Road America finishes as of this writing). Joshua’s fast…
Nicole has more track time in her Ford Fiesta than she’d probably admit. Nicole is fast in everything she drives including open wheel formula cars. Not only is she fast, she will make other drivers get a blue flag and point her by in race classes faster than hers. This year Nicole spend a lot of time racing with Midwestern…
Going after a season championship can be a long road. Before heading for the false grid, Nate has already put in over 450 miles to get to Blackhawk Farms Raceway (BHF). Nate comes from Greenwood Nebraska. Nate put together a string of wins at Blackhawk Farms and a 2nd at That Loooong Race in October to put the ITS season…
Lakeshore’s Vice President Randy Platz put on another clinic in A Modified to take the abbreviated 2023 Autocross season championship. Randy’s 2022 season came to a halt with a rear bearing type failure but thankfully not damaging his stunning 1970 Corvette (I think it is a 1970). Randy’s 2023 season was full speed ahead setting a scorching pace for competitors.…
