Club Meetings

All members are encouraged to attend the monthly club meeting to bring your thoughts and ideas to the table. The meetings are casual and members like to arrive early to chat and have a bite to eat. Guests are always welcome to join in as well. Membership meetings are held at Amelia’s Restaurant on the last Tuesday of each month at 7pm.  Due to Covid 19 meetings are currently held via conference line.

Class Champion Benefits

Lakeshore members who are class champions with Midwestern Council receive personalized jackets and a trophy.

Good Samaritan Vehicle/Trailer Breakdown Benefit

Unique to Lakeshore, we are proud to offer this benefit to our members. LSCC will provide up to $500 of breakdown/towing reimbursement to its members when traveling from their home or shop to a MCSCC sanctioned event to participate as a driver, crew member, or race staff. This covers only towing of car, truck, hauler, trailer, and/or race car above and beyond the member’s own insurance coverage (AAA, Good Sam, AARP, etc). This benefit will not cover fuel, parts, food, or lodging. Claims should be filed with the club President and Treasurer with proof of event participation, receipts of expenses to be reimbursed, and disclosure of benefits received from any other breakdown/insurance coverage if applicable.

Race Staff/Worker Credits

The club officers of LSCC recognize the importance of race staff volunteers and would like to give an extra special thanks to any of our members who spend their free time staffing Any LSCC member (full members and spouses/significant others of full members) who works as race staff at a MCSCC sanctioned event will accrue credit of $5 per day worked towards the LSCC Annual Awards banquet fee. LSCC recognizes all credits its members earn throughout the racing season, which means you can turn in those credits with Midwestern Council and use them again with LSCC. Even if you have never participated and don’t know how to get involved, feel free to contact any of the club officers for more information.
